日本青年Tokio雙身來到香港，希望尋找道地美食，旅途上巧遇香港少女慧。來自中產家庭的慧，父母陪伴哥哥前 赴加拿大升學並為定居準備，計劃安賴後再接她過去，她留守香港與年邁的祖母一起倒數最後時光。拿著攝影機到 處拍攝的Tokio，以客觀冷靜的眼光捕提日常的生活，他和慧以結結巴巴的英文溝通，分享彼此在傳統習俗、世界觀和愛情觀的不同，文化和語言的差異無阻二人交集出一段互相觀照和反思人生的珍貴友誼。Tokio遍尋不獲的香港美食，就在祖母做的家常菜嚐到，而他和慧最後在中秋節的月光下，抓緊剎那儼如家人的親情。

Tokio, a young Japanese man, visits Hong Kong in search of authentic cuisine. He meets Hui, a Hong Kong girl from a middle-class family left behind temporarily by her parents, who are arranging to move permanently to Canada. Hui spends her remaining time in Hong Kong caring for her elderly grandmother. Using his camera, Tokio captures everyday moments, observing with calm detachment. Despite language barriers, they form a special friendship, sharing cultural differences, traditions, and views on love. Tokio eventually finds the authentic food he seeks in the home-cooked meals of Hui’s grandmother. Their bond deepens, culminating in a heartfelt moment resembling familial warmth during the Mid-Autumn Festival.
